The Cactus Wren House is a clean, functional desert home with everything you need for a quiet and comfortable stay. It features a private queen bedroom with a view of Nine Point Mesa, a full kitchen, a spacious open living area, and a dedicated dining and workspace. This home is ideal for couples, solo travelers, or small families looking to settle into a slower rhythm surrounded by nature.

Inside you’ll find a queen bed, a couch, and a full-size mattress that can be laid out on the floor for extra sleeping space. The large kitchen includes a refrigerator, stovetop, oven, sink, and all basic cookware. The living area has space to relax, stream your favorite shows, or get some work done at the kitchen table. The bathroom includes a stand-up shower and toilet, located just off the main living space. Air conditioning units serve both the main room and private bedroom.

Outside, you’ll have access to the surrounding acreage and a fire ring for gathering or outdoor cooking when permitted. Please check for current burn bans or windy conditions before use.

This home runs on rainwater collection. Water is not potable and cannot be used for drinking or cooking. Guests must bring their own drinking water. Water is a limited and precious resource in this region. We ask that all guests practice mindful use, including three-minute showers and minimal water waste.
